The Project

The project wants to develop and transfer to VET teachers and trainers an innovative teaching approach and tools for students with learning difficulties, exploiting the potential offered by Haptic training not yet applied to the VET system. Therefore, the project’s objectives are a response to the context and the problems mentioned above.

Main Objective

Develop and implement a comprehensive program for enhancing vocational education and training (VET) by focusing on cognitive-haptic learning, digital tools, teacher competency profiles, and performance-based assessment to create an inclusive learning environment for students with sensory disabilities and learning disorders.

The University of Humanities and Economics in Lodz (Akademia Humanistyczno-Ekonomiczna w Lodzi) (AHE) is an accredited higher education institution providing BA, MA, MSc, PhD programmes, postgraduate studies and courses for various target groups (entrepreneurs, unemployed, youth, students, disabled, seniors, teachers, trainers, people of various professions, migrants, children, disadvantaged youth). As one of the largest private universities in Poland, AHE has 20-degree programmes, some taught entirely in English. The study curricula are constantly updated according to labour market demands and AHE cooperates with stakeholders from the business sector, educational centres, local authorities and experts from various fields. AHE holds the 5th place in the Ministry of Higher Education “Ranking of most popular non-public universities”.

The European Education and Learning Institute -EELI- operates all over the island of Crete Greece, its base is in the city of Rethymno located in the centre of Crete. EELI offers services in a wide range of community programmes aiming to actively contribute to the lifelong learning of people of all ages and strengthen cooperation in education throughout Europe. It deeply embraces the idea that people just never stop learning and through its work and its international network, EELI promotes research, regional development and cohesion, the development of transnational partnerships and European projects and skills to upgrade professional qualifications. EELI designs and manages European programmes; assisting stakeholders to work together, develop, share and transfer best practices and innovative approaches; developing and testing of training curriculums and materials; organizing seminars, workshops and training activities for educators, trainers, teachers, professionals, unemployed and young workers. EELI also provide public (Region of Crete, Primary and Secondary Directorate of School Education in Crete, Chambers of Commerce) and private educational institutions with technical assistance in the development and implementation of EU programmes and research projects.

Founded in 2009, INNETICA is a non-profit association (NGO) whose mission is to promote cooperation between entities across Europe to promote European values in accordance with Article 2 of the Treaty of the European Union.
Its mission is to promote social innovation projects and develop educational projects and teaching activities.
INNETICA aims to promote sustainable development through initiatives to protect the environment, promote the European Cultural Heritage and integration of migrants.
INNETICA associates university entities, public bodies, companies, and training centres of different countries, as well as intellectuals, professionals and volunteers who contribute their ideas and experiences for the change and improvement of European societies.
To fulfil all these purposes, develop various activities, for example, The organization of conferences and meetings at national and European levels in education, training, culture, research and social innovation. Conduct dissemination campaigns on the results of the projects carried out by the Association. Creation and development of content, applications and digital services devoted to the areas mentioned in different languages.

iInformatica S.r.l. is a young enterprise, founded in 2014 by the engineers Vito Santarcangelo and Giuseppe Oddo with office in Matera, Trapani and Napoli.
The staff is composed by 15 employees under 35 years and its mission is the development of innovative digital solutions (software and hardware) made on the specific client’s requests. The company is active in the field of software development and in the Research & Development activities and it is registered in the special register of innovative SMEs. Over the years the company has developed several applications including «iordino” for the Horeca (Hotellerie-Restaurant-Café) sector and ”iplaya” for bathing establishments.

Studio Risorse S.r.l. is a private company established in Matera – Italy since 1998.
Thanks to its great experience and its internal and external staff‟s professional skills, it offers a wide range of consulting and training services for young unemployed, disadvantaged people, workers, SMEs and public and private organizations (Public Administration, etc…).
The main services provided by Studio Risorse S.r.l. are the following: Design of projects in the framework of European Social Funds, National Funds, Regional Funds (POR) regarding Vocational Training, organization and management, staff recruitment; Training needs analysis; Guidance services and promotion of self-employment; Management and Accounting
of training activities; Front – Office services for productive activities (service planning, innovation procedures, etc); Preparation of finance projects for Local Bodies; Consulting activities on labour/industrial legislation; SME finance consulting.

Academia Formação do Norte is a training school created in 2011, certified by the Directorate-General for Employment and labour Relations, based in the city of Porto that promotes training actions for youngers and adults, companies in several areas, providing the trainees with the necessary skills to better adapt to organizations and to the labour market, mainly in the sector of Health, Beauty & Wellness, entrepreneurship, Environment, ICT, languages and initial pedagogical training for trainers Our training packages whose final aim is to ensure a healthy and sustainable development of the students, professionals and to increase their employability.
